Partnership with NASSCOM

It is with great pleasure to inform everyone about RSSDI's collaboration with NASSCOM. The MOU was signed by our President, Dr. Vijay Vishwanathan, and Mr. Ankit Bose, Head of AI, NASSCOM.

NASSCOM represents the voice of the over $284bn technology industry in India, with the vision to establish the nation as the world's leading technology ecosystem. Boasting a diverse and influential community of over 3000 member companies, their network spans the entire spectrum of the industry, from DeepTech and AI start-ups to multinationals and from products to services, Global Capability Centres to Engineering firms. This partnership will help to expose us to the Health Tech industry for future collaborative work.

The scope of our partnership will cover the following areas, as included in the MOU:
1. Joint research and innovation projects
2. Joint hackathons
3. Support by RSSDI to startups supported by NASSCOM by providing clinical knowledge, access to subject matter experts, etc
4. Engage NASSCOM members and participate in specific interest groups
5. Training programs by NASSCOM for MBBS/MD students and clinicians in data analytics, Digital Health, and AI/ML
6. Joint policy papers
7. Knowledge sharing for the adoption of digital health in diabetes
8. Any other areas of mutual interest

We hope this initiative will open up many opportunities for our members interested in diabetes technology and help them find partners for joint work in tech innovations. Our office in IIT Mumbai will handle this initiative through KCDD.
