Elections will be held for the following posts of the Executive Committee (EC) for 2011-2013 and nominations are hereby invited for them :
  1. One President
  2. Two vice President
  3. One Hon. Secretary
  4. One Joint Secretary
  5. One Hon. Treasurer
  6. Two Executive Committee Members (All India)
  7. Four Executive Committee Members (One from each zone - North, South, East, West)
 
Nominations shall be made on prescribed from stating the office for which nominations are filled. The nomination shall be proposed by one valid member of RSSDI and seconded by another valid member and duly signed by them and shall also be signed by the candidate signifying his/her willingness to stand for election and serve on the Executive Committee if elected. Separate nominations must be submitted for each post.
 
Nomination form is enclosed along with this circular. The nomination form completed in all respects along with candidates consent and Bio-data should reach the RSSDI Secretarial not later than 31st July, 2010.
 
The list of contesting candidates will be distributed to all the candidates by August 15th, 2010. Last date of withdrawal of nominations shall be August 31st, 2010 and should be sent to Hon. Secretary in writing.
 

Eligibility :

To get elected to the EC, one shall be a member of the RSSDI for least five years. For the posts of the President, the Vice President, the Honorary Secretary or the Honorary Treasurer, a candidates should have held an elected position in the EC for three years. Except Executive Patrons, other EC members shall not serve on the committee for more than three consecutive terms. The result shall be announced during the annual Scientific Meeting & new office bearers along with Executive Committee members installed.
 

Note :

Any candidate, sending bio-data, indulging in any other form of canvassing directly to members (voters) or collecting ballot papers form voters, shall be disqualified. If any candidate or member is found indulging in the same, he or she shall be debarred for the election and shall be debarred from contesting elections for next three consecutive years.
The result shall be announced during the Annual Scientific Meeting & new office bearers along with Executive Committee members installed
